At Bout of the Living Dead on Saturday October 27, the South Side Derby Dolls travel team “The Force” traveled to Windsor NSW to take on Hawkesbury/Hills Area Roller Derby‘s CamoKazi’s in the first bout between these two evenly matched teams.

The curtain raiser for the night saw the first full length Men’s derby bout to be held in NSW. Bringing together skaters from 10 different leagues from all around Australia, the bout featured  S2D2’s own Quadfather and Dred Flanders for the Incredible Hulks. The Hulks lost in a close, action packed, fast paced slug fest to The Dark Knights 160-180.

In the main event bout S2D2’s The Force had to fight for every point with HARD’s physically intimidating pack pushing the girls from the South Side to dig deep in order to pull out the win.

Ann O’war topped all scorers with 104 points for the night with KillaBee chipping in 62 and Strawb’ry Slaughtercake adding 44 to the tally.  Dobie Wan Kenobi lead her team with 60 for the night.

MVP honours (as voted by opposing players) for the night were HARD’s Lola Ebola and S2D2’s KillaBee.

S2D2 will use the confidence gained from the strong win as momentum heading into their upcoming clash with Central Coast Roller Girls on 17th November.
